Kielder Water Sailing Club offers a wide range of water based activities for anyone who is interested in water sports. Every Sunday from March-November, they host dinghy racing competitions. The Coquet Valley itself offers a local sailing course for sailing enthusiasts. The Coquet Shorebase Trust is a charity based in Amble which offers water sports training and courses to anyone who is interested. The courses they offer are: canoeing, windsurfing and sailing, just to name a few. The Northside Surf School, who are also based in Amble offer surfing lessons off nearby beaches including Duridge Bay and Warkworth Bay.
